This is my second writing sample. By this point I had learned how to talk about my family, things that we all do, and how old I am. I felt like I was growing more familiar with the characters involved, and I was making fewer mistakes in format. I also had learned at this point that when making a list, it was male to female, oldest to young--so that was how I organized my family.
I was very pleased when I wrote this, because I did not need to refer to the character book hardly at all in order to know what character to use. I was also able to know what word order to use; this particular writing sample was incredibly useful to help reinforce what we were learning in class and how to write.
